Match Preview
West Brom v Norwich
West Brom are without Darren Purse and Neil Clement for
the match with Norwich at The Hawthorns.
Central defender Purse starts a three-match ban after he was found guilty of
violent conduct during the match at Newcastle last month.
Clement is serving the second game of a three-match suspension after being
found guilty of violent conduct following his punch-up with Fulham striker Andy
Cole on September 18.
Darren Moore will continue as the replacement for Purse with Riccardo Scimeca
once again pushed forward into midfield to cover for Clement.
Albion midfielder Andy Johnson (back), left-back Paul Robinson (knee and flu)
and striker Kanu (ankle) are all expected to be fit after injury problems.
Welsh internationals Jason Koumas and Robert Earnshaw are expected to be on
the bench.
Norwich boss Nigel Worthington hopes to name an unchanged side.
On-loan Arsenal midfielder David Bentley has recovered from the back problem
which ruled him out of England Under-21 duty, while Mattias Jonson is expected
to shrug off the foot injury which restricted him to a substitute's role while
away with Sweden.
Utility man Gary Doherty was on the bench last time out against Portsmouth,
and is a slight concern after picking up a knock on his ankle playing for the
Republic of Ireland, so Leon McKenzie is likely to partner Darren Huckerby in
attack again.
